The Bits & Bytes STEM Foundation is focused on the future, empowering traditionally underserved and disadvantaged youth, ages 4-18, with equitable access to high-quality, hands-on Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM), Computer Science, and Applied Digital Skills learning experiences. We are not just addressing the current disparities, but preparing the next generation for the future. Our work has a broad and impactful outreach, and we collaborate with organizations championing educational, racial, and gender equity. This ensures that all students, regardless of background or location, can engage, explore, and learn skills to empower and support them in their career pathway selection process. By accessing students during after-school and out-of-school time through partnerships with schools, community centers, and community-based organizations, we strive to bridge the gap in STEM and computer science education and digital literacy for students in rural or economically disadvantaged urban areas.
