At FATE we are dedicated to serving as a resource for children, teens and their families, by providing educational, social-emotional and experiential programs and services. The mission is to assist each individual in the families we serve to reach their highest tier of excellence despite the challenges that life may present on a daily basis.
Meet Our Director
Simone Ragland is a Licensed Social Worker, administrator and educator with over 20 years of experience delivering support services to individuals and families in Buffalo. In her decade of work in a Science and Technology Enrichment Program, she focused on students who were historically underrepresented in STEM and healthcare, helping to provide greater opportunities with the goal of closing achievement and equity gaps.
Simone is passionate about education, empowerment, engagement and support for children and families, as well as increasing diversity and inclusion in the rapidly growing careers in STEM and healthcare. We are very excited to have her as part of our team!
